The association of Tourism and Ecology „Călţun”- UNESCO club is interested in young people’s education regarding old habits considering the art of craft. We think that those things are forgotten so we would like to remember and to make them know by specific activities and discussions. „The art of crafts around Europe " project took place in Curtea de Arges and also various subcarpatian villages, from Arefu, Corbeni, Horezu, Valeni, Albesti. It was a multilateral project in which were involved teenagers from Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Portugal, Poland, Germany and Romania between 8-17 august (nine days).
The intercultural dialogue based on the theme of the art of crafts gave a great chance to the 51 teenagers involved to understand the significance and also the importance of traditions within spiruitual developement of Europe, to understand the European culture, to respect local and European values.
Within the framework of the project there were developed a series of activities like: socializing games, workshops related to the art of crafts from the geographical regions participants came from, creativity games, cultural nights rezerved to each participant country, applications in Sibiu and Horezu for a better understand of Romanian traditions.
